#ProjectHope: A Smile for All

“Love is not patronizing and charity isn’t about pity, it is about love. Charity and love are the same — with charity you give love, so don’t just give money but reach out your hand instead.”

These savory words of Mother Theresa goes to all the kind-hearted, the cheerful givers, those willing to share what they have even if it hurts, those who only have what they give and those who have not lived a day until they do something for someone who can never repay them. If for any reason, you feel connected to any of those categories, then, I would like to introduce to you #ProjectHope.

What is #ProjectHope?

#ProjectHope is a campus charity initiative borne out of love and the need to show true affection to the deprived orphanages in the Central Region. It’s solely aimed at touching the lives and putting long-lasting smiles on the faces of these children who have no one else to turn to for the basic necessities of life but to survive on the meager or at worse, non-existing resources of an orphanage. #ProjectHope is determined at making a big difference in the everyday lives of these deprived children by initiating a massive student and corporate-based donation movement and fundraising event to support this noble course.

How do I get Involed?

#ProjectHope is an all-inclusive charity event, and as such, any form of donations is gratefully welcomed. If you are a kind-hearted student, why won’t you donate a cedi or two, a tin of Milo, milk or can of fish, a bar of soap or a bottle of drink? If you are a corporate body who associates with the concerns of the underprivileged, why not sign on with a sponsorship package to touch these innocent lives and to leave everlasting scars of joy and happiness on the sorrowful hearts of the orphans?

#Lets all join hands and with one accord show love and put beautiful smiles on those innocent faces.

God Bless You!
